Submittal Requirements

1. Complete and submit the online Sign Permit Application.
2. Wall Sign(s) Drawing Set:
   • Dimensioned drawing of each wall sign (Height x Width)
   • Dimensioned building elevation drawing of sign on wall
   • Method of attachment
3. Tenant Panel(s) Drawing Set:
   • Dimensioned drawing of each tenant panel (Height x Width)
   • Dimensioned building elevation drawing of tenant panel(s)
4. Electrical Permit Application required if sign is illuminated

Code Requirements

• Panel or box signs 10% of the wall
• Channel letters only 20% of the wall

Required Inspections

1. Final

• All inspections require a 24 hour minimum advanced notice. Schedule inspections up to 4 p.m. on the business day prior to the requested inspection date by calling Permit Services at 847-923-4420.
• Construction is required to be inspected at different phases of development according to the project type.
• Construction must remain accessible and exposed for inspection purposes until approved by the Inspector.
• The printed permit card must be clearly visible on site along with the approved as noted permit set, readily available to the Inspector.
