The Village of Schaumburg, in collaboration with the National League of Cities, is offering Village of Schaumburg residents a free prescription discount card that provides an average savings of 23% off the retail price of prescription medication. Residents who are without health insurance or a traditional pharmacy benefit plan or have prescriptions not covered by insurance have a solution to obtain medications at a discount. These cards are available at the Nursing & Senior Services Division located at 746 E. Schaumburg Road or online at www.caremark.com/nlc.
