By law, most public employees are allowed to organize into groups or unions and bargain collectively for wages, benefits, and working conditions. Currently, there are six unions that represent village employees. This page includes links to collective bargaining agreements that have been negotiated between the unions and the village, as well as the village's Personnel Manual, Safety Manual, and Benefits Handbook. While all employees are covered by the policies in the Personnel Manual and Safety Manual, employee benefits are addressed in the employee's applicable collective bargaining agreement, or, in the case of non-represented employees, the Benefits Handbook.
