The Environmental Health Division is responsible for enforcing Village of Schaumburg Codes and Illinois state laws related to environmental health issues within the Village. Our Environmental Health Inspectors regularly inspect, monitor, regulate, educate and advise the public on environmental health concerns that adversely impact human health.

Body Care Inspections

Inspections are performed biennially for the businesses providing the following services: tanning, hair salon, manicure, pedicure and massage.

General Program

We respond to a number of public health related complaints including: Hazardous Home Sites, nuisances (i.e. rodents, roaches and bed bugs), mold problems and abandoned swimming pools.
