Opening day for the 2024 Farmers Market is Friday, June 7. At the Schaumburg Farmers Market, you’ll find locally grown fruits and vegetables, certified organic produce, microgreens, meats, flowers, plants, gourmet cheeses, and dog treats sold by the vendors that produce them.

The market also features decadent pastries, baked goods, meat pies, natural juices, olives and olive oil, pierogies, empanadas, and knife sharpening services. This family friendly activity offers freshly squeezed lemonade, fresh brewed coffee, crepes, kettle corn, veggie burgers, and sorbet made on site!

Community Programming & Entertainment

June 7	Opening Day Enjoy a string trio performance by Elegant Ensembles. Visit with Master Gardeners and Hoffman Estates Garden Club to have your gardening questions answered.
June 14	Flag Day Visit with Schaumburg Township, Schaumburg Township District Library and Schaumburg Township Historical Society to learn about their programs and activities. Bike Patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide bicycling safety information.
June 21	Visit with representatives from American Legion Post 1983 to learn more about their programs for our armed services heroes. The village’s Nursing Division will be in attendance and providing free blood pressure screenings.
June 28	Safety Day Enjoy a steel drum performance by Meg Thomas. Meet and greet your public safety heroes from the Fire Department and gather bicycling safety information from Bike Patrol. Visit with Northwest Mosquito Abatement District to learn more about their efforts.
July 5	Fourth of July Celebration Enjoy a violin-guitar duet performance by Elegant Ensembles, and visit with Master Gardeners to have your garden questions answered.
July 12	Enjoy a performance by Swedish folk singer, Petter Wahlback. Visit with Schaumburg Township District Library and Schaumburg Township to learn about their programs and activities. Representatives from Senator Laura Murphy’s office will be on hand to answer constituent questions. Bike Patrol will be available to register bicycles.
July 19	Enjoy a violin-piano duet performance by Elegant Ensembles. Representatives from Commissioner Kevin Morrison’s and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle’s offices will be available to answer constituent questions. Grab information on village services and events from the Communications and Outreach Department.
July 26	Stop by the village’s Nursing Division’s booth to receive a free blood pressure screening. Bike Patrol will be registering bikes and handing out safety information. The Northwest Mosquito Abatement District will on hand to answer questions about their efforts.
Aug. 2	Visit with the Master Gardeners for answers to your gardening questions.
Aug. 9	Visit with Schaumburg Township, Schaumburg Township District Library and Schaumburg Township Historical Society to learn about their programs and activities. Bike Patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.
Aug. 16	Receive a free blood pressure screening from the village’s Nursing Division. Representatives from Senator Laura Murphy’s office will be on hand to answer constituent questions.
Aug. 23	Sports and Recreation Day Visit with representatives from the Schaumburg Park District to learn about their programs and activities. The village’s Communications & Outreach Department will be on hand to share information on village services and events.
Aug. 30	Labor Day Celebration Enjoy a performance by popular folk singer, Mark Dvorak. The Northwest Mosquito Abatement District will on hand to answer questions about their efforts to control this insect.
Sept. 6	Master Gardeners are back to answer all your gardening questions. Representatives from Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison’s office will be on hand to answer questions.
Sept. 13	Enjoy a performance of jazz and pop by Sonder Quartet. Schaumburg Township District Library and Schaumburg Township will be available to answer your questions and share information on their programs and services.
