Noise Abatement Guidelines

The Village of Schaumburg has implemented the following Noise Abatement Guidelines for eastern departures. The purpose of these guidelines is to reduce the negative noise impact to residential areas east of the airport. When departing, the village requests that pilots use Runway 29 (westbound departure) whenever safe and possible to do so. If pilots must use Runway 11 for an eastbound departure, they should use the guidelines outlined below to reduce the impact of noise to adjacent neighborhoods.

The Village of Schaumburg thanks the public for following these guidelines to help us stay committed to reducing the negative impact of noise to the village's airport neighbors.

For questions or comments regarding noise related to the airport, contact Airport Manager - 847-923-3778.
