The village provides 40 FREE bicycle lockers available for lease and an additional 48 covered bicycle parking spaces at the Schaumburg Metra Station located at 2000 S. Springinsguth Rd. Bicycle lockers are secure and protect your bicycle from the elements.

For bicycle locker availability, please fill out the Bicycle Locker Request Form.

Requirements for a bicycle locker include a signed lease agreement and a $75 deposit. Payment for the deposit can be collected by cash, check, money order, or via WebPay. The $75 deposit is refunded to the customer at the end of the lease period as long as all keys are returned and the locker is in its original condition. Notify the Transportation Department that you wish to terminate your lease. Upon termination, you will need to remove any property from the locker and return both sets of keys within 48 hours. Upon receipt of the keys and an inspection to determine that a bike locker is clean and free of damage, the deposit will be refunded. A check will be mailed to the address provided in the lease application within 30 days. If your address has changed since date of application, please be sure to provide the most recent mailing address to the Transportation Department when requesting your refund.

Failure to return the keys or remove any items from the locker will result in the forfeiture of the locker deposit. Any property left in the locker after termination will be kept by the village as abandoned property. All rights to property will be forfeited.
