Schaumburg's Bartender Village Ordinance

On August 23, 2016, the Village Board of Trustees repealed Schaumburg's Village Ordinance requiring any person that opens, pours or mixes alcohol in SCHAUMBURG to obtain a Schaumburg bartender license. However, a valid license is still required by Illinois Public Act 098-0939. The state requires all bartenders, servers and bouncers to attend a state sponsored alcohol awareness training class and be BASSET certified. It is the individual's responsibility to comply with the rules stated by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission and present a current BASSET certificate upon request by the Village.
