The 30-member Schaumburg Business Development Commission meets on a monthly basis to discuss economic development issues and get updates on issues affecting the business community. The Schaumburg Business Development Commission features a business each month as part of the business retention program to educate the community about the business and to recognize the contribution the business has made to Schaumburg.
Purpose
The Business Development Commission seeks to:
- Promote the industrial and commercial development of the village
- Serve as ambassadors to the business community
- Gather information, inform the public as to the benefits of the village, and makes recommendations to the Village President and Village Board regarding development incentives
