OXCART Permit Systems

Starting November 1, 2017 the Village of Schaumburg began using an online-based overweight/oversize truck permitting system via the website, www.oxcartpermits.com.

Companies applying for an overweight/oversize permit in the Village of Schaumburg will now use the Oxcart permitting software. Registration is easy! Create an online account to take advantage of the benefits the Oxcart Permit System offers. Once registered, you can use the Trucking login/sign section to access your account and take advantage of the online benefits:

• Access a simple to use online interface for requesting local permits
• Paperless permits downloadable to your computer or any mobile device
• Provide an easy, online payment system

Permit Fees

Single Trip (5 day)

• Village Permit Fee: $50.00
• Oxcart Fee: $5.00

Round Trip (10 day)

• Village Permit Fee: $80.00
• Oxcart Fee: $8.00

Quarterly (90 day)

• Village Permit Fee: $200.00
• Oxcart Fee: $15.00

Processing and Credit Card Fees

In addition to the Village of Schaumburg permit fees, Oxcart charges a nominal processing fee for each permit and each credit card transaction that is processed. Those charges are:

• Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Diner’s club – 2.9% of total permitting fee (permit & processing fee combined)
• Plus a $.30 transaction fee for ALL permits
