Chicago blues women pay homage to legendary influences, from classic blues women of the 1920s to the soulful sounds of contemporary blues and R&B artists.

Award-winning slide guitarist and singer-songwriter Donna Herula kicks off the evening with her signature Delta and Chicago blues-infused sound. Joining Herula are special guests Lynne Jordon (vocals), Anne Harris (violin), and Peaches Staten (vocals, percussion). Then, vocalist, drummer, and Chicago Blues Hall-Of-Famer Sheryl Youngblood delivers electrifying performances with an R&B and soul-tinged edge.

Featuring music from blues greats like Koko Taylor, Bessie Smith, Memphis Minnie, Nina Simone, and Etta James, plus hard-hitting originals, this one-of-a-kind show honors the past and celebrates the future of the powerful tradition of the blues.
